Teaching & Learning

img

In order to achieve quality education, teaching methods and techniques play a vital role. All teachers are committed to implement new ideas and teaching methods appropriate to subjects. They will explore problems and issues of the teaching and learning process. Then, each faculty head will develop teaching- learning strategy based on the problems identified to improve the classroom teaching.

Special Class

Children of varying background and ethnic groups are admitted in the school. Therefore, individual differences are obvious. The school will make efforts to meet their individual difference and attitudes. The school will also organize special classes on specific subjects and areas on the basis of their needs to assist them in developing their talents.

School of Thanka Painting

We are extremely pleased to start education and training in the important discipline of the Thanka Painting, one of the most valuable and much sought-after ancient, religious and traditional crafts of Nepal. Traditionally, the Thanka Painting used to be done by the Buddhist monk and painters in the monasteries located in the Himalayan highlands of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim and Laddakh. It is hoped that the initiation of this programme will greatly contribute towards the preservation, protection and development of this otherwise neglected and vanishing art. In addition to this, the skilled graduates of this discipline can be expected to have an easy access to employment market in Nepal and many parts of the world.
